Day 1 - Welcome to Siem Reap

Upon your arrival at airport, you will be welcomed by escort tour guide (with sign name) and driver then transfer directly to hotel for check in. Simply enjoy free time at hotel or make your own highlight tour around central area.

Day 2 - Siem Reap

Breakfast is at hotel. We set off at 8.00am for full day guided Angkor exploration, start with the south gate of Angkor Thom atop 4 giant faces, stroll to explore Bayon temple consisting of more than 200 smiling faces in stone, admired by interesting temples including Baphuon, Phimeanakas, terrace of leper king, terrace of elephant & Ta Prohm temple adorned with the stunning tree roots where Lara Croft Tomb Raider was filmed. Enjoy delicious set lunch at Triple K air conditioning restaurant.
After lunch, continue to witness the marvelous Angkor Wat – the world’s heritage listed by UNESCO in 1992 and the largest monument in the world. Unlock the amazing history, its ancestral incredible, architectural masterpieces and the finest carvings dates back to the Khmer Empire when it dominated the largest parts of Southeast Asia. Next, enjoy the hiking up to Phnom Bakheng to watch the spectacular sunset or alternatively go to Pre Rup temple as if Phnom Bakheng is always touristy.

Day 3 - Siem Reap

Breakfast is at hotel. We set off to a nearby countryside to experience oxcart adventure through rural village to interact local people, see animals, fresh vegetable gardens and rice fields dotting with palm trees. Enjoy fresh coconut juice & tropical fruits before heading to visit Cambodian Liqueur workshop where you have a chance to test many different liqueur flavors and followed by finger snacks. Continue for guided orientation at the finest Artisan Angkor wood/stone carving centre displaying various defined handicraft and silk products, continue to stroll around old market for shopping and see daily trading. Enjoy Khmer set lunch at famous Viroth’s restaurant.
Afternoon, continue to Kompong Phluk; one of the stilt house village located at the edge of Tonle Sap Lake. We process to embark a private sheltered boat, enjoy sightseeing along the canal before the excursion reaches the stilt houses. The boat slides slowly through high stilted houses, come across the highlight of fishing activities. Witness how life works on the water and how people make the lake as home. Resume by canoe to explore the mangroves with pleasant surroundings, we may see water-birds and monkeys before we dock to our regular boat to see the great lake of Tonle Sap, unlock Tonle Sap’s eco-system and its rich biosphere.
Evening, transfer to have set dinner at beautiful décor restaurant “Grill Wine Café” before transfer to experience unique Phare Cambodia Circus show.

Day 4 - Siem Reap

Breakfast is at hotel. Journey out at 7.40am, drive beyond Angkor complex to observe wildlife at Angkor Conservation Center Biodiversity (ACCB) at the foot of Kbal Spean hill. It’s where you have a guided tour around the center to discover endangered wildlife such as greater adjutants, gibbons, Malayan Pangolin etc. Continuously, we hike up to visit the series of stone rock relief carvings in sandstone formations of the river bed “Valley of a 1000 Lingas”. Nearby the riverbed, we will see the small waterfall where you can have a quick bath to cool down if you want (waterfall is seasonal: meaning it is dry up in hot season). Lunch is served at a local restaurant.
Afternoon, continue to explore the intricately carved, beautiful pink sandstone temple of Banteay Srei – considered to be a Jewel of Khmer art which features elaborate decorations and fine details. These factors have made the temple extremely popular with tourists, and have led to its being widely praised as a “precious gem”. On the way back, we have a short observation at palm sugar village and other various local handicrafts before visiting the serenity of Banteay Samre. If you are not tired, we will watch sunset over the rice paddies from Pre Rup temple.

Day 5 - Phnom Kulen Waterfall

Breakfast is at hotel. We drive out of the hassle city at 8.30am, passing beautiful countryside before arriving at Phnom Kulen; one of Cambodia’s national parks that provides wonderful holiday and a great place to cool off. Phnom Kulen used to be the ancient capital city in 802AD – after King Jayavarman II was initiated as the royal “God of the King”. Enjoy the guided walking tour to visit Preah Ang Thom – the reclining giant Buddha statue. Continue to witness historical site of 1000 linga carvings under the riverbed, you also have a chance to see the secret pool where the white clear water coming out of the ground all year round. Resume the walking to the beautiful waterfall where we can refresh, bathe and swim. Near the waterfall there are some local huts where we enjoy local lunch & fresh coconut (own account). Enjoy the relaxation and feel the nature until late afternoon then we transfer you back to hotel. Evening, enjoy set menu dinner followed by Apsara dance performance at a selected restaurant.

Day 6 - Siem Reap - Preah Vihear

After breakfast, check out of the hotel then we drive toward Beng Mealea temple. On the way we will taste a few bites of famous traditional bamboo sticky rice, visit water quarry where Khmer ancestors cut the sandstone to build ancient temples. Next, venture Beng Mealea jungle temple, experience the guided adventure within the lush jungle to reveal the lost temple “Beng Mealea”. Since the temple was constructed during the reign of king Suryavarman II in the early 12th century until then it’s never been restored again. It provides wonderful adventure tour that you’re going to climb over/down the ruined rocks, walking into the gallery to unlock the carvings and its interesting history of the Hindu temple related Angkor time. We then tranquilly capture picturesque photos before resuming the journey to visit the remnants of the Khmer Empire’s capital, the Pre-Angkorian Koh Ker temple, constructed in the late 9th century. Unlock the amazing pyramid architecture unparalleled is the seven tiered and 36-metre high, a double sanctuary (Prasat Thom/Prang), follows a linear plan and not a concentric one like most of the temples of the Khmer kings. Drive directly to central Preah Vihear City.

Day 7 - Preah Vihear

Breakfast is at hotel. We drive to Preah Vihear mountain’s base where we catch 4WD up toward the wonderful temple of Preah Vihear which was built in the late 11th century, atop the mountain near the border of Thailand – Cambodia. Temple of Preah Vihear, which took over 300 years to complete construction by some Khmer famous king, was first constructed from 893 by King Yasovarman who led the country from 889 to probably 910. The majority of the building of the temple was created by King Suryavarman I (1002 – 1049) and finally the temple was completed during the reign of Great King Suryavarman II (1113 – 1150). Enjoy the breathtaking with stunning landscape of Cambodia & Thailand. After visiting Preah Vihear temple we will driver around 1h 25 minute to Preah Vihear city.

Day 8 - Preah Vihear - Stung Treng

After having breakfast at hotel, we check out and drive to Stung Treng province. On the way, we stop to have a good breathtaking and capture photos of fascinating rapids of Sopheak Mitt falls, bordering Cambodia & Laos. Resume driving to Stung Treng.

Day 9 - Stung Treng

Breakfast is at hotel. Today we journey out to Borey O’Svay Community based eco-tourism site, take local boat which slowly cruises along the mighty Mekong River admired by beautiful nature, river, lush forests then we disembark to stroll around the region and explore the pleasant wetland. Come across flocks of birds on the trees and enjoy taking picturesque photos of the stunning mother-nature. Continue the adventure to Koh Ksach where you enjoy the breathtaking, walking on the white sand river-beach and even you can swim around but don’t forget to bring along extra clothes. Return hotel and enjoy free time.

Day 10 - Stung Treng - Rattanakiri

Breakfast is at hotel. We check out and say goodbye to Stung Treng, we drive to Ratanakiri Province with 2.30 hours passing Cambodian northern jungle with countryside and mountain views. After checking in and refreshment, we go out for lunch at a local restaurant before strolling around the sleepy town of Ban Lung with Banlung market and continue to visit the volcanic lake of Yeak Loam – set amid the pristine rainforest. You have chance to swim and wander around with the green surroundings.

Day 11 - Rattanakiri

Breakfast is at hotel. Today is a full day excursion to explore some of Cambodia’s ethnic villages and reveal the ethnic minority’s mysterious lifestyle and their culture. Drive to visit the surroundings of an impressive falls, resume driving to northwest, passing bamboo forest to visit Veun Sai village – a Chinese blooded Khmer ethnic minority with very less Khmer. Take a short boat trip to witness a few tribal villages including Tampoun and Ka Choan whose traditional routines have never been bothered by the modern world. There are a lot of chances to take photos of beautiful surroundings and even take some photos with tribal villagers.

Day 12 - Rattanakiri - Mondulkiri

Breakfast is at hotel. We check out then drive (3 hours) directly to Mondulkiri Province with mountain and jungle landscapes. Once we arrived at hotel, check in and have free time at hotel. Evening, we head out toward Doh Kramom Mountain to watch the spectacular sunset and the stunning views.

Day 13 - Mondulkiri

Breakfast is at hotel. We journey out of hotel at 8.00am to the Tree Lodge Bungalows where you be transferred to the starting point of the tour in Mondulkiri protecting area then we trek through the jungle to the Mondulkiri Project’s Jungle Lodge. Here you will listen to your guide talk about the Mondulkiri Project. Next it is time to meet the 5 elephants and their Mahouts. Take lots of photos, get close to the elephants and have fun feeding the elephants bananas. Watch as the elephants walk around eating bamboo and enjoying being elephants. You will also see them scratching against tree trunks and throwing dirt or mud on their backs. After lunch, we continue to the valley for swimming, washing and playing with lovely elephants until late afternoon. Heading back to our awaiting car then drive to our hotel.

Day 14 - Mondulkiri

Breakfast is at hotel. We’re heading to visit the most beautiful Bousra Waterfall in Mondulkiri, unwind yourself, cool off and relax by the falls (don’t forget to bring extra clothes if you wish to cool off under the falls). Continue to visit coffee plantation with leaning the coffee process before returning to the hotel for refreshment and have the rest of your free time in Mondulkiri.

Day 15 - Mondulkiri - Kratie

Breakfast is at hotel. We check out of hotel and make the journey with 4 hours toward Kratie Province. Embark the ferry (or local boat) to Koh Trong Island, we disembark and challenge motorcycle through the sandy path direct to your wooden villa, check in then have free time. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
Late afternoon, we experience oxcart ride within Koh Trong to interact local people as well as seeing rural life. Learn from your tour guide about their way of living, routine, culture especially the en-rooted superstitions. Passing traditional stilt houses and hear kids welcoming you by saying “Hello”, you’ll have a lot of chance to take interesting photos

Day 16 - Kratie

Breakfast is at hotel. Today we explore the best of Koh Trong by bicycle through small trails to see rural life on this island. The bike adventure provides great experience to unlock lifestyle animated by daily activities, ride passing vegetable & fruit farms, grab picturesque landscapes overlooking Mekong and visit Vietnames padpga and floating village before we stop for fruit tasting at a host family’s house then we ride back for the day rest.
Afternoon, embark a local boat to the mainland then we stroll around Kratie market to see daily trades before heading to visit to Wat Sasar Mouyrouy (100 column pagoda) with interesting history & legend, continue to Kampi pool where you take a small boat to capture the special glimpses of rare endangered freshwater Irrawaddy Dolphins and watch beautiful sunset over the Mekong River.

Day 17 - Kratie - Kampong Cham

After having breakfast, check out then we catch the ferry (or local boat) back to the mainland where our awaiting driver takes us to Kampong Cham province (3-hour drive). Check in and relax.
Late afternoon, we go for city orientation of Kampong Cham, enjoy walking on the longest bamboo bridge docking Koh Pen Island where you take the breathtaking surrounded by white sand and wait to take beautiful sunset over Mekong.

Day 18 - Kampong Cham - Phnom Penh

Breakfast is at hotel. We check out of hotel and make the journey toward Phnom Penh Capital. One the way, we will visit Wat Norkor Bachey Temple – Angkorian temple, stop at Skun village where we challenge to eat crispy bugs including spiders, crickets or grasshoppers. Continue driving toward Phnom Penh Capital, check in and have your own free time.

Day 19 - Phnom Penh

Breakfast is at hotel. We drive to witness the tragic site of Cheung Ek, known as The Killing Fields where hundreds of Cambodian lives were proceeded between 1975 and 1979 under Khmer Rouge, connecting to the Tuol Sleng museum – a former high school that was turned into Tortured Prison S-21 and resume strolling around Russian market for shopping.
Afternoon, continue to visit the National Museum; the world’s most important collection of Khmer sculpture and carvings. Then we enjoy guided orientation around Wat Phnom with interesting legendary of founding Phnom Penh Capital.
Evening at 4.30pm, we get on board, enjoy welcome cocktail while the boat cruise slowly takes you along Mekong & Tonle Sap River, view the spectacular sunset before having buffet dinner on board. Disembark and transfer back to hotel.

Day 20 - Phnom Penh

Breakfast is at hotel. We set off at 8.00am to challenge a cyclo (rickshaw) for interesting highlights of Phnom Penh with Independent monument, resume the ride to central market to see daily life of trading then we ride along the riverside to visit the Royal Palace – is a complex of buildings which serves as the royal residence of the king of Cambodia, Silver Pagoda, Royal Stupas, French style building etc. Have lunch at a selected local restaurant by the riverside. Return hotel and simply enjoy your own free time in Phnom Penh.

After nearly two years of restricting international arrivals as part of Covid-19 prevention measures, Cambodia yesterday become the first country in Southeast Asia to drop the requirements for both pre-travel PCR (polymerase chain reaction) test and on-arrival rapid antigen test for fully vaccinated travellers into the Kingdom.
