Detailed schedule

Day 1 - Welcome to Siem Reap

Upon arrival at Siem Reap International Airport, you will be greeted by our lovely staff with fresh jasmine flower, and then embark on luxurious vehicle to your hotel for check in. Kindly note that the room will be ready from 14:00 hrs. If you want to check-in early, there is surcharge to guaratee the room's avalability.
Begin your journey in the Kingdom of Wonder with one hour authentic traditional Khmer Body Massage at your hotel to get over your jetlag and simply to prepare yourself for city tours of Siem Reap and get a feeling for the Cambodian way of life. Evening, enjoy dinner with Khmer Apsara Dance show at Angkor Village Theater, then overnight at your hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 2 - Siem Reap - Temples - Sunset Cocktail Cruise

Morning: Drive to visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom which is famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.Continue to visit Ta Prohm, one of the area’s most beautiful temples. Ta Prohmhas been relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery. Lunch at local restaurant and return to hotel for refreshment and short break.
In the afternoon, you will visit the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor, Angkor Wat. We stroll around this massive monument, exploring the many galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple.
Evening, enjoy a Relaxing Sunset Cocktail Cruise in a gondola paddle boat in the moat of the Angkor Thom compound while watching the romantic sunset at Prasat Chroungtemple. Cocktail included: soft drinks, local beer, or wine and 60 minutes free flow of Canapé.
After sunset cocktail, we will bring you back to hotel, and you may find your own dinner at your own desire and cost, if the cocktail not yet full you.

Day 3 - Siem Reap - Banteay Srei - Kampong Phluk - Sunset Dinner

Morning: Drive 35km from town to visit the famous Banteay Srei Temple(10th century), regarded as the jewel in the crown of Classical Khmer Art. On the way back stop at Pradark village, where you will see the villagers making sugar palm, handicraft for selling to tourist. It’s a nice chance for you to see the local people living at the country side with their struggling for daily life. Continue to Banteay Samre, the Angkor Wat style and was constructed around the same time as Angkor Wat, while many of the carving are in excellent condition. Return to Siem Reap and enjoy your lunch at Champagne Restaurant, then return to hotel for short break and refresh.
At 2:00pm, meet new guide and we departure for Kompong Phluk 2 Villages and Sunset Tour.
This unique tour is only available through Tara tours and is the best way to experience 2 very different types of villages whilst also enjoying a full buffet dinner and all-inclusive drinks on board our famous Queen Tara, (Queen Tara is the largest by far riverboat on the Tonle Sap Lake, the largest fresh water lake in S.E Asia). We depart your hotel just before 2pm and head to the docking station of Kompong phluk where our long tail traditional boat will be waiting to cruise you through the floating village and onto the township of Kompong Phluk, We visit the actual town and also the pergola and monks training school. We then will head onto either our Lady Tara or the Princess Tara and onto the flooded forest, depending on the time of year we will either row in small boats through the flooded forest or if there is no water we can walk into the forest. We then re-board our mini Tara's for the lake crossing and onto our famous Queen Tara for a full buffet dinner and all drinks included whilst you watch the best sunsets on the great lake, you can chill in our plentiful hammocks or watch the sunset from our top deck, the best views on the lake. We will also cruise through the floating villages before heading back to Siem Reap and back to your hotel by 7.30pm.

Day 4 - Siem Reap - Sihanoukville - Alila Villas Koh Russey

In the morning, take the flight to Sihanoukville.
Upon arrival at Sihanouk Ville airport, you will be warmly welcome driver for the resort and drive you for a 5 minutes transfer to the port then continue on speed boat another 10 minutes to Island Resort, Alila Villas Koh Russey, an ecological escape on the enchanting island of Koh Russey, on the Cambodian Riviera, infused with Khmer culture and charm, where privacy, nature and local hospitality take centre stage. 
Dinner at resort at you own expense and overnight at Alila Villas Koh Russey.

Day 5 - Alila Villas Koh Russey - Free day

Breakfast at resort, then enjoy your time at the resort or explore other beach activities.
You have time to relax by the beautiful beaches or stroll by the white sands.

Day 7 - Sihanoukville - Phnom Penh

You may want to enjoy the late, big breakfast and read the last pages of your novel before you check out. Remember that the hour on the island is set one hour ahead of the mainland.
At 12:00 noon, you will depart back to mainland by boat where your personal tour guide and driver are waiting to welcome and escort you on a private vehicle to Phnom Penh. The road from Sihanouk Ville to Phnom Penh is 226Km, takes about 4 hours drive. Phnom Penh was once considered the loveliest city of Indochina. Despite its recent turbulent history, it still maintains considerable charm.
Upon arrival Phnom Penh, you will be transferred directly to your hotel for check in and rest after long hours on the road.
Lunch & Dinner at your own expense and overnight at hotel in Phnom Penh.

Day 8 - Phnom Penh - City tour

Morning, - start our first visit to the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S-21), this former school was used as a prison by Pol Pot’s security forces. It became the largest centre for detention and torture during the rule of the Khmer Rouge. Then continue with the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek, the site of brutal executions of more than 17,000 individuals, most of whom first suffered through interrogations, torture and deprivation in Toul Sleng Prison during Pol Pot regime (From 1975–1979). Lunch at Banan Restaurant.
Afternoon, start our visit at Royal Palace, built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town, and the Silver Pagoda, located within the grounds of the Royal Palace. The Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles.   After visiting both structures, we continue to the legendary temple of Wat Phnomwhich recites the history of Phnom Penh’s name. This evening we will end our tours in Cambodia by enjoying Dinner Cruise along Mekong River on Kanika Boatto explore a beautiful night light of Phnom Penh city along river while devouring another Khmer Authentic food. After dinner transfer back to hotel.

Day 9 - Phnom Penh - Departure

Free time until driver pick-up at hotel and take you to airport for your flight back home.

After nearly two years of restricting international arrivals as part of Covid-19 prevention measures, Cambodia yesterday become the first country in Southeast Asia to drop the requirements for both pre-travel PCR (polymerase chain reaction) test and on-arrival rapid antigen test for fully vaccinated travellers into the Kingdom.
